Certification-BQK

Certification in Basic Quantum Knowledge Exam is a collection of Python tools and scripts for generating randomized, auto-gradable basic quantum knowledge exercises suitable for import into Moodle or other e-learning platforms. The exercises are designed to test students' understanding of fundamental quantum concepts such as quantum gates, pure states, separable states, quantum circuits and quantum protocols.

European Policy for Scalability

The scalability policy proposed by POLITEHNICA Bucharest impacted all CEF EuroQCI Phase 2 consortium applications which, following the recommendation from EC and PETRUS, have integrated the recommended solution with a dedicated WP or group of tasks in their application. Based on research conducted by the Quantum team at POLITEHNICA Bucharest, several QKD scalability and network governance issues were distilled into a one-page recommendation authored by Prof. Pantelimon George Popescu and Dr. Alin-Bogdan Popa and shared at two dedicated online meetings organized via PETRUS with the applicants to EuroQCI Phase 2 (CEF-DIG-2024-EUROQCI). The recommendation was officially endorsed by EC, HaDEA, and PETRUS.

QKD-MonDash

QKD-MonDash - The Quantum Key Distribution Networks Monitoring Dashboard software is designed to provide comprehensive monitoring of large-scale QKD networks. The system addresses the need for robust tracking of network health, application usage, and security status, supporting a wide range of use cases from research to public administration. The core of the system comprises an Agent for data collection, a Backend for processing and storage, and a Frontend for visualization and management.

qSSH

qSSH - Custom GSSAPI Mechanism with QKD-Based Session Key Integration a custom GSSAPI mechanism that integrates with OpenSSH to utilize session keys derived from Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) devices. The mechanism establishes a secure SSH connection using keys obtained from QKD devices, ensuring enhanced security through quantum-safe key exchange. The session key forming mechanism involves a protocol where three 256-bit keys are retrieved from the QKD devices. Specific parts of these keys are used for mutual authentication and to form the session key for the SSH session.
